Health is so crucial to our lives that if we do
not live healthy, everything else in life loses its importance. We may have
many expensive things at our disposal, but if we have unhealthy lifestyle, we
may not be able to enjoy the goodness that life offers to us。

when was the last time you popped some popcorn in a little oil with a bit of good quality
unprocessed salt? It tastes wonderful and it's a whole food without the chemicals or additives or anything
that would adulterate it into a junk food. Of course, it still has calories, but just remember to eat
it in moderation. I have one of those old-fashioned poppers that stirs the oil and seeds while they
pop, but my dad used to make the best popcorn in a Dutch oven on the stove. Try it, you'll like it!

As I talk to people, I realize that there is a great deal of
confusion about basic healthy eating concepts. In addition, there is lots of
good information about healthy eating that is simply not known by the average
person (or the above-average person!). Recently, our local paper carried a news

the author did not know the difference between protein and carbohydrates.
(Apparently, neither did the editor, since the article passed muster and made
it to the front page.)

best to avoid late night snacks because they fill you with unnecessary calories
